An Assignment I have for my Drawing II class is to research a number and create a drawing based off of that information. My work is centered around 7, and though originally I thought I was going to do the Seven Sisters of Greek Mythology, I’ve gained interest in another myth, and the conflicting versions of it.
According to different parts of the world, [The Seventh Son of a Seventh Son] is either endowed with magical powers, or is cursed to be a werewolf.
So here are some pictures that are inspiring the types of imagery I’m going to use:

Sure he was hot.
Being with him
was like having,
hovering over me,
the giant coil
of a toaster oven
set to FUCKING SCORCHED.
And I was his favorite pop-tart
waiting to be fit to consume.
But by the time he remembers
where he left me,
I’ll be baked into a diamond,
something unexpectedly pretty,
and shiny,
and new.
